i went to get a haircut at this really nice salon, its called the Arcs and all they use is Paul Mitchelle products. and she used a Paul Mitchelle straitener on my hair, it was so cool...the temp setting goes from 175 to like 400. anyway. the chi straitener doesn't have a temp setting. what do yall think? which one is better?

My sis has the Paul mitchell, we call it pauly! I like it way better than the chi. The Chi is great, but the P.M. is just great....like you said, the temp settings can vary so you don't have to burn you hair.....it has also lasted a pretty long time....lots longer than other staighteners ive used! I reccomend it! It will cost ya more than a chi tho...... you can get them at trade secret I know and they gave her full bottles of the p.m. super skinny shampoo and conditioner free with purchase!

I absolutely love the PM straightener. I was trained to use it many many years ago and It has never failed me.

Okay, I have to admit, I've never had the pleasure of using a PM straightener, so I have to say Chi for me, but I love everything Paul Mitchell, and a heat setting would be a plus!!! Thin hair doesn't need all the heat from a Chi, but thick hair does.
