Conair Infinity vs Chi?

Is the Conair Infinity better than the Chi (hair straighteners)? Or would you recommened another straightener for thick wavy hair?

Conair Infinity vs Chi?

CHI's are one of the best kind of straighteners out there,i also have very wavy hair and i bought a Wigo Jade straightener i got mine when they came out and i spent $150.00 and that was a while back they might be cheaper now,but it is a amazing straightener,It does not damage the hair as bad as the gold plated or ceramic ones,it is quite expensive but it is worth the spending!! good luck at finding a good hair straightener!!! And also Hot Tools makes wonderful hair tools but they are expensive as well...hope this helped!!

Conair Infinity vs Chi?

i have wavy/curly hair and its sorta thick well i ahven't tried conair infinty but i have a chi straightener and its amazing it woks really well if u get liek the $200 like salon one they work well

but straightener can damage and dry ur hair so you should get a protective spray or cream or sumthin but try chi out if u don't like it then maybe try conair

Conair Infinity vs Chi?

never tried the conair.

but i have a chi and it works miracles.

i love it.

and deff recommend it.

Conair Infinity vs Chi?

i have the conair infinity and i like it a lot. I would recommend the 1" cuz you can do more things with it and it isn't as bulky. I have heard about the Chi and how it's supposed to be so great, but for how long it takes people and how expensive it is, i would rather go with the conair. Just make sure you use hear protector spray, as you're supposed to with any straightener.

I hope I helped at least a little.

Chi's are wonderful but they break easily. I work @ ulta and we get SO many people returning them because they get a short or they wont heat. THERE IS SOMETHING BETTER THAN CHI!!!! lol Its called a Sedu. I have one (and my hair is EXTREMLY coarse n curly) and when I use it my hair is smooth and shiny. U can find it @ Ulta or search online. They run abt 120 and are worth every penny!!!!!!!!!!!

Conair Infinity vs Chi?

I so definatly recommend the Conair Infinity Hair Styler.

(This one: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d...

It straightens your hair while drying it, so you can use it after you shower. You can also use it on dry hair, but if so, it's good to use some type of moisturizer serum in your hair afterwards. While regular hair straighteners, with the ceramic plates that press against your hair, will damage your hair, the Conair Infinity Hair Styler repairs damaged hair with ionic outputs to smooth cuticle layers to make your hair soft, silky, and shiny. It also gets rid of frizz. You don't even need a comb or anything like you would with a regular straightener, since it has a built-in comb for more manageability and safely straightens hair (and dries wet hair).

This is honestly the best way to go. My hair is so damaged from all the dyes, bleaches, flat iron hair straighteners, and all the other stuff its been through. I had my doubts when first using the Conair Infiniti Hair Styler, but let me tell you it's great. It made my hair look straight, silky, healthy, and NOT frizzy for the first time in my life. I'm amazed and very happy with it, and I will continue to use it and recommend it highly to anyone who asks.

It's REALLY good, especially if you have damaged hair or are trying to avoid damaged hair. Like all 'hair heating' devices (curling irons, straighteners, etc.) I'm sure it does do some damage to your hair, but not nearly as much as a regular straightening iron with the two plates that press against your hair and fry it to a crisp. (And by the way, the Conair Infiniti has a special notification thing so that if/when it gets too hot, it will shut down and you can give it a minute or so to cool down. This helps so that you will not be able to over-heat hair too much.) But remember, hair straighteners/curling irons should not be used too often because they DO damage your hair. The Conair Infiniti works sort of like a blowdryer, but with better effects, because as you know sometimes blowdryers can make some types of hair unmanagleable and frizzy. But don't worry, the Conair Infiniti doesn't do that. It does just the opposite, as it smooths out hair. (As I would've never expected from a device similar to a hair blowdryer. I'm still in shock, lol.) Also, you don't have to, because I certaintly don't, but if you feel it's best, you can use a heat serum on your hair as you should with flat irons.

The only thing is to make sure you set it at the right tension control. There's a knob at the top that controls this. There are 4 options: curly, very curly, thick, and the other i can't remember. But if/when you get it, just go over the instruction booklet and it'll tell you what's what. There are 3 heating controls to choose also: cool, high, and low. Play around with it until you find which is best for your hair. When I first got mine, I had no idea what I was doing %26amp; had all the controls set wrong, and it didn't turn out as it should've. But I read through the instructions, set everything up right, played around with it until i got the controls perfect for my hair type, and afterwards it worked beautifully.

I honestly cannot reccommend this enough! It's the best! I never thought my hair could look as beautiful and healthy as it did after I used this! You should just try it! If it doesn't work out your way the first time, just keep adjusting the settings and eventually you'll find the right settings for your hair type and it will make your hair look straight %26amp; awesome. Plus, if you don't like it, you could always return it anyways. So I really do think you should at least try it out.

Good luck, girlie. =]
