ive heard that if you have thin hair,using a chi can break your hair and cause severe damage.

I have thin hair %26amp; use a CHI straightening iron. No burn or damage has been done yet. I don't use it daily, though. If you're really worried, go to a salon %26amp; ask what products they have to protect your hair while using a hot iron. I know they make some.

not if u put it on a low setting. if there are no settings, i would recommend getting one with settings. or dont keep the iron on your hair for long amounts of time

it shouldn't damage your hair if you watch what your doin..like don't slide the flat iron really slowly down your hair and use a protector spray or cream before you straighten your hair.
