Make sure you wash it really good, then put condition in it.

Make sure its nice conditioner and not something like VO5.

That stuff wont do anything for you. And make sure you wash your hair, and then put the conditioner in at the begging or your shower, and let it sit in while you take care of your other necessities in the shower then rinse it out at the "very" end. This will give it time to soak into your hair fibers and moisten it and all. Then when your out, blow dry it while brushing it straight down with a brush. Once it drys it should already be in a basic shape, finish it up with a straightener. Any frizz control gels, or special gels type things can be used, just don't over do it or it will change the look you are going for, you want it to look like your hair magically stays like that without product.

Also, this is something most people don't mention, but I always use a fabric softener on my hair when I'm all done. if you are in a moist atmosphere like Washington state or Florida with humidity it may cause it to frizz, or perhaps there is allot of static electricity in the air. what ever the case is, softener will do the charm. Just fold it in half and slide it straight down from your part down as far as you can go. ;)

hi i have the same straightner its awsam look i know exactly what to do look buy a product called CHI silk in ok put it on ur hair befor u straighten it ok it will be so shiney and soft too it will look like chinees ppl but dont put alot cuz its kinda like oil so if u put alot then strighten it will be stiky t\so just pu a littel and o ya when i bought the straighner the ladie toled my wash ur hair with cold water first it will be very shiney i hope i helped
