Product Description
Chi Original 1" Farouk CHI Ceramic Flat Iron Model GF-1001 The CHI can be considered
one of the most versatile Hairstyling Irons on the market today. The CHI's ergonomic
design allows the user to flip hair up or curl it under with a twist of the wrist.
The CHI is ideal for straightening and smoothing the hair while the ceramic plates seal
in natural moisture. It's great to use prior to a Dry Haircut. The ceramic coated paddles
help prevent scorching hair color and helps reduce styling product build-up. Featuring an
extra long swivel cord to prevent tangling, the CHI has a concealed on-off switch inside
the handle to prevent accidentally turning the unit off when in use. The heat paddles are
recessed from the edges to prevent skin burns. Will automatically heat up in less than 10

Chi hair straightner!?
you should see if there's a warranty if you buy it so they'll replace it if it breaks
Chi hair straightner!?
I have a CHI and it's fantastic. A little pricey- but definitly worth it! :D
Chi hair straightner!?
Yes it's really good, and it won't break as long as you take good care of it, just like any other straightener, I've had one for about 5 months and it still works great. I have thick curly hair too, and normally I have to blow dry my hair and then go over it with a straightener but with this I don't, which is what makes it awesome! Don't be tempted to buy the one with thicker plates though, it's not as good as the original.
Chi hair straightner!?
YES, it is one of the best beauty investments I made. I know my boyfriend freaked at the price, but if I added up all the other irons I had purchased over the years I could have bought ten chis. Also their products from the CHI line are fabulous for straightening hair, and leave the hair silky. BUY IT-YOU WON't REGRET IT.
Chi hair straightner!?
they work wonders...but there expensive so..but they work!
Chi hair straightner!?
CHI is the only straightener I will use. They have warranties, so if it breaks they will replace it. I am a hair stylist so I use mine many times a day, including on my own hair and I have never had a problem with mine. Just make sure you use a heat protectant spray first.
Chi hair straightner!?
it is fairly high quality -
i would suggest it.
Chi hair straightner!?
CHI straighteners are amazing. My hair is incredibly thick and although it isn't curly, it is an annoying wave. I've had mine for four years, I use it every day, and my hair is fine. At one point I was getting a lot of split ends, but I found out afterwards it had nothing to do with the straightener.
I definitely recommend you use it. =)
Chi hair straightner!?
I LOVE my Chi. I've had it for awhile and it hasn't broken.
Chi hair straightner!?
I have a Maxius that I bought on HSN. I paid quite a bit (over $100) but it was worth every penny and it came with a 1" iron with it. Maxius has a reservoir for purified water so that you can steam and my hair is long (waist length) and thick and naturally wavy and it takes one swoop down. I've been using it over 2 years and haven't had a single problem with it. IF you want to go with a basic inexpensive one, you can go to a beauty supply and go with a ceramic iron. I remember the first iron I ever bought was a Gold 'n Hot from Sally's Beauty Supply for like ten bucks and it worked good.
Chi hair straightner!?
I was just like you like three months ago. I wanted a CHI and I asked people on yahoo answers , I got one and it works great!!!!!!! Just remember it lasts forever and heats up in like 2 seconds. good luck, and go for it!
Chi hair straightner!?
I am a hairstylist and I swear by the CHI brand flat irons! I bought my first one 6 years ago and it still works great. It is very important not to drop it though. If you have pets make sure that your keep the whole cord on the bathroom counter (But not in the sink DUH!) My bosses dog walked by and his wagging tail got caught in the cord and knocked it down and it broke. You should also use a towel or pot holder to lay it on while it is hot because it could scorch the counter top.
Hope this helps!
