CHI straightener????????????

I recently bought a CHI hair straightener and it says that you can CURL your hair. But I CAN'T!!!!!! Why?? How do you do it??

When I use it, I put the strand of hair in the iron about mid shaft and slide it down flipping it either under or up with it. If you're looking to make it more curly, wrap the hair around the iron... pretty curls :)

you have to do it in small locks of hair and what you do is you wrap it around the straightner and hold it there, read the instructions, but if you cant its ok its kinda hard to do

My stylist did loose curls one time, but it looked too complicated and I was afraid I'd end up with the dreaded hair kinks if I ever tried it. If you angle the iron slightly instead of straight, it will give the end a little curl but not the whole strand. She twisted the iron around in someway that made it curl but I think it is pretty hard to learn.
