well i am a professional and it cost me 120 for mine so i dont concider it cheap and you wont be able to get it cheap like how i have because you are not licensed the best bet is to wait till around christmas when the put them on discount and then you will be able to get one.....but you will still pay more than what i did......and it is the best straightener out there and it can even straighten ethnic hair as good as a oven and hot iron.....so it is the best one out there and i agree it is an investment and if you are not prepared to accept the monatary value of the tool then its not for you.....

its ok but the best straitener i have ever used is called the maxius and it can staighten any head! go online and look for it! its like $85

Chi makes the best, blow dryers and straighteners on the market right now, but they are very expensive. The best thing to do to get it a little cheaper is to have a stylist buy it for you from a beauty supplier (we get a discount) I am forever buying things for friends and family so that they can get my discount. Just make sure that it is someone who will tell you the real price they pay for it, and not someone who is trying to make a profit from you.
